Nice Morning -diary

It's really wonderful; I get Ielts result this morning, 6.5, that is the score I need all the time. Thanks god.

Listening 5.5, Reading 7, Writing 6, Speaking 7, Overall 6.5. Many thanks to the speaking examiner, she scores me 7, a…, that is amazing, I thought my speaking is the weakest among these abilities, and I felt nervous in part2&3, also, I found some obvious mistakes during the process, so 7 is a big surprise to me, instead what I guessed is 5 or 6. The main reason is the extra communication out of speaking test.

At the end of Ielts writing test, I found a mistake on candidate No. and gave her a report, she said she would check my name with it, so didn’t worry about it. That was the first time I had spoken to her. At about 3 o’clock that afternoon, I was so nervous and compel myself to be calm down, and then she came in, I said to her that was my turn, she smiled to me and asked me how I knew. Good impression I stood.

Even though I did very well in the first part, but the longer I took it, the more mistakes I made. She asked me some questions about leadership abilities and whether it was mainly coming from born or not. I felt a little nervous and spoke a little quick, that was perfect she scored me 7. May be it is truth that my English is really improving so much. Fabulous!

The listening looks a little lower when I guess it may be 6, indeed, when I did the listening part, I found there were so many blanks in it which made me become nervous, and I couldn't concentrate on listening at that time, that I would take another ielts exam next time because my plan was 6.5 or more in listening, so 5.5 is the correct score I guessed at that time.

Even though I am good at writing, I also did badly and made too many stupid mistakes. 6 is my past score, and I am sure I could do better in writing.

Correct score in listening and writing, big surprises happen in reading and speaking. Thanks Jesus!

Edinburgh Festivals

From 27th July, there are several festivals holding in Edinburgh. According to it offical website, the Edinburgh Art Festival will be the greatest one that many famous art teams from all over the world will come to Edinburgh to show the world-class performances. I am so pleased about the news and looking forward enjoying the summer holiday that I will also stay in Edinburgh to have some part-time jobs to earn the journey fares. The day after tomorrow, I'll come to have an interview with my boss, so eager to get the job!
